According to Plan Canada:

• An estimated 3,900 children die every day as a result of poor access to clean water and improved sanitation – 2 million preventable deaths each year.
• One billion people, including 400 million children, do not have access to an improved water supply.
• 2.6 billion people lack access to improved santitation.

That is why we have to do our part!
